Description

  • Throughout this course, you will engage in interactive workshops, discussions, and practical exercises that explore the connection between personal well-being and effective teaching practices. You will discover self-care practices and stress management techniques that promote mental, emotional, and physical health, allowing you to navigate the demands of your profession with greater resilience.
 
  • In addition to nurturing your own well-being, you will learn how to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for your students. The course will address ways to recognise signs of stress and emotional challenges in students and offer strategies for fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning space. By improving your own well-being and implementing mindful practices, you will model healthy behaviour for your students, empowering them to thrive academically and emotionally.

  1. Recognise the importance of well-being in the teaching profession and understand its impact on personal and professional growth.
  2. Identify and manage stress triggers effectively, utilising a range of stress management techniques and strategies.
  3. Develop resilience skills to bounce back from challenges, setbacks, and demanding situations.
  4. Apply self-care practices and establish a personalised well-being routine to enhance mental health and overall well-being.
  5. Foster positive relationships with colleagues and students, creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
  6. Utilise mindfulness techniques to reduce stress, improve focus, and promote a sense of calm in the classroom.
  7. Implement effective time and task management strategies to optimise productivity and minimise stress.
  8. Reflect on personal well-being progress, set meaningful goals, and create an action plan for continued growth and well-being.

Methodology & assessment

Methodology:

Interactive Workshops: The course employs a hands-on approach, featuring interactive workshops, group discussions, and collaborative activities.
Peer Learning: Participants engage in peer-to-peer learning, benefiting from the diverse backgrounds and experiences of their fellow educators.
Practical Application: The training emphasises the practical application of concepts learned.

Assessment:

Formative Assessment: Continuous assessment methods are employed throughout the course, including quizzes, group presentations, and reflective journals.
Final Project: Participants are required to develop a final project that incorporates the knowledge and skills gained during the course.
Course Evaluation: At the end of the course, participants are asked to complete an evaluation form, offering insights into the effectiveness of the training program.

Certification details

Our courses are in line with the Erasmus+ Quality standards for courses under Key Action 1 (learning mobility of individuals) Participants are required to attend a minimum of 80% of the course sessions. Additionally, active engagement and participation in group discussions and practical activities are encouraged to enhance the learning experience.Upon the successful completion of the training course, participants will obtain; 
  • Certificate of Attendance: includes the name of the participant and the trainer, the location, the dates, learning hours and competences acquired.
