Having worked at the European Schools of Luxembourg 1 and 2 over the past 14 years, I am now working as an English teacher, both mother tongue and English as a second language, at a Luxembourgish Lycée. I'm pleased to be working in the state system of my adopted country and looking forward to speaking and hearing a lot more Luxembourgish. I'm working for the international section which offers a European Secondary Education within the Luxembourgish system in French, German or English. Eventually the school will offer the European BAC qualification to students. It is a new school with many enthusiastic teachers who are committed to the spirit of Europe, with new ideas, a learner-centred approach to teaching and I hope to be able to continue to share innovation in teaching. All students have iPads and digital learning platforms will be accessible to us. Looking forward to a digital future at the heart of Europe.
