The project intends to share simple information about the trees found in the school yard (or surrounding area) of each partner school. Students will discover and learn something more about these trees, such as their common name, scientific name, family, origin, leaf type, fruits and purpose. They may also find some stories or popular songs from a particular tree. Students will share this information through electronic presentations, photographs, or short videos made by them. Each partner school will choose a tree, preferably an original from their country or region, to make it known to the other partner schools. The project intends to develop and improve students’ skills in understanding the topics covered in learning Natural Sciences, orality and writing in a Foreign Language (English) and in the use of information and communication technologies (Informatics / ICT). Also other educational areas such as Arts, Music, History and Geography may be part of the project.
