VALUES AND VIRTUES IN A TECH-DRIVEN WORLD

This project explores how the rapid advancement of technology is reshaping the moral landscape for young people, particularly students aged 12-18. As digital tools and platforms become an integral part of their daily lives, it is crucial to reflect on the values and virtues that should guide their interactions, both online and offline. The project will focus on how technology can influence behaviors such as empathy, responsibility, integrity, and respect, while addressing potential challenges like cyberbullying, data privacy, and the ethical use of AI. Through a series of interactive workshops, discussions, and digital resources, students will be encouraged to develop a balanced perspective on using technology responsibly, understanding how to uphold core human virtues even in the digital realm. Additionally, this initiative will provide insights into how IT tools can both enhance learning and personal growth, while also presenting new ethical dilemmas that students must navigate. The outcome will be a collective reflection on how technology can coexist with the timeless values essential to a healthy, respectful, and inclusive community at school.
