VIRION - Virtual Reality Applied to School Education

The motivation of our project starts from that VR is a technology that is going to be more and more present in our society. It is, to some extent, already a fact through more basic experiences such, for example, videogames, but in this case pointing towards the immersion of the users in the way they experience these, or the many hours that young people spend on the increasingly "audiovisualized" social networks. VIRION has two main objectives: the first is to test an innovative educational methodology based on VR content in schools with students between 14 and 18 years old. The second is to design a Web portal (dashboard) where to dump all that accumulated experience. In addition, to ensure its sustainability, it will have AI (chatbot) capacity with which we will guide the different users (politicians with educational responsibilities, educational managers, teachers, VR content production companies and hardware manufacturers) according to their objectives. In this way, we act as a space of contact between the different actors. The results are: 1) the VR content that we will create from analyzing the needs and interests of the schools involved (three per country); 2) "White book" with the tested methodologuy; 3) as well as the portal described. In this way, we provide educational authorities, school managers and teachers with several tools to face the challenges of education that are foreseen for the coming years. The founders are 2 Bulgarian schools but the other project partners will be from Spain, Germany and fINLAND.
