Greentopia-our sustainable home is a project that aims to make students aware of the changes undergone by their immediate environment (city/village, school...) but also to understand these spaces through the concept of sustainability. It is based on the eTwinning 2022 annual theme ‘Our future: beautiful, sustainable, together. Schools and the New European Bauhaus: Imagining a creative learning environment in green and inclusive schools’. Students will reflect about their schools and cities and how they can make them greener and ecofriendly. They will develop their vision of the ideal school and city as well as a greener society through a variety of engaging, creative and collaborative activities, using Web 2.0 tools and foreign languages. Students will also develop and enhance their communication skills, as well as their digital and social skills. They will be encouraged to become active and proactive citizens by sharing their productions with their school community, their families and their cities’ community.
