This project aims at enhancing pupils' literacy skills as they will be asked to read books and create their own reviews. Students will be encouraged to read from different media – physical books as well as ebooks from Epic and Oxford Owl. Different web 2.0 tools and apps will be used by students to do the reviews such as: Web 2.0 tools for recording reviews: Flipgrid Web 2.0 tools for writing reviews: MyStorybook, Storyjumper, Book Creator Apps for writing reviews: Author, Workspace, StoryVisualizer Flipgrid will be used for recording reviews. Teachers can choose which apps or web 2.0 tools to use for writing reviews. The project is open for Years 3- 6 teachers. All reviews will be shared on the project’s Twinspace where all students will be given access to and thus be able to see and comment on their peers' book reviews.
