Description
Hard skills v soft skills will be explored. We will look at how hard skills are particular to a set career whereas soft skills are transferable. Hard skills that were necessary for a profession that is now obsolete are put on the shelf and cannot be transferred to a new profession. However, highly advanced soft skills are what employers are demanding nowadays. Staff with these skills are more versatile, resilient and adaptable.
The course is mainly aimed at those who have a growth mindset and are open to developing their own soft skills. The course is also valuable for leaders who will gain the experience and skills to develop a programme for their own staff to develop and enhance the set of soft skills they already have.
Course participants will also gain the skills and knowledge to be able to share their experience with their students and to plan activities related to the themes of the course.
The course creates the opportunity to shape and learn how to promote an attitude of openness, curiosity and cooperation, useful in both professional and private life.
