Project-based learning is a way to learn by doing, exploring, experiencing and creating. It can be used in any school subject and with students of all ages. PBL brings authenticity to the classroom in that the problem is easily connected to the world outside of the classroom, and students are challenged to collaborate, communicate and think critically as they approach the problem.  Teaching through the PBL strategy means fully understanding PBL as a teaching method. PBL is not about projects. It is about the material and concepts learned through the projects. Developing and implementing PBL in the classroom include five key building components that are key need to be the driving force behind the development of project-based learning.
