Description

We will share theory and practices on positive pedagogy, positive psychology and strength-based learning with you. You will learn how everyone can find their strengths in classroom.

You will learn about emotional skills and how to teach them in the classroom. You will learn how to help students recognize their own emotions.

You will see teachers’ point of view and explanation of the Finnish PISA results. We will also give you an overview to the new curriculum in Finland.

You will get information about the Finnish school system, how we arrange special education, evaluation and students welfare in Finland.

This course offers you also concrete tips on how to use and teach mindfulness in classroom and outdoors with children.

Every course will have one full course day in nature in forest or the nearby archipelago where you will learn methods of relaxation and mindfullness.

During the course you are very welcome to share your best ideas and practices from your country. It' s very interesting to learn from each others.

This course will be interactive and you will learn many concrete tips for activities in classroom.
