PALM: Promoting authentic language acquisition in multilingual contexts

The PALM project encouraged young speakers aged 6-14 to produce authentic content (written, audio, and video) in their coursework and free time in eight languages. The aim was to create interesting reading and listening material for learners of the same age who want to study these languages.
People speaking

The Erasmus+ co-funded project provides multilingual resources for learners and teachers alike in eight content areas that comply with curricula across Europe: creativity and fantasy, education and work, free time, health and well-being, nature, people, the year, and the world.

The interactive platform also has a section dedicated to teachers called ‘PALM4TEACHERS’, which offers training and teaching materials as well as tutorials. This project was awarded the European Language Label.
