EIT FoodEducators promoting healthy and sustainable food choices among young people

Teachers can use these fun, creative and interesting activities to promote awareness of healthy and sustainable food systems in their classroom.
EIT Food

The educational materials created by the EIT FoodEducators programme are easily accessible and based on science to enhance students’ learning so they can become better informed, conscious consumers of the future.

Food Mission educational package (for children aged 9-14): This helps create awareness of food-related issues in an interdisciplinary manner. It connects food with sustainability, health and science communication.

Food Careers educational package (for children aged 15-18): Using a challenge-based approach, building on the local ecosystem and opportunities, this aims to inspire and encourage young people to study a food-related discipline while raising awareness of career opportunities in the agrifood sector.

Two video playlists on jobs in the agrifood sector are also provided, one for adults and one for children.
